Mystery moths

Here’s a few moths from this year that I couldn’t identify. At the monthly BC Leps meeting we usually set aside some time to pore over some puzzlers. These’ll be my contributions for the next meeting.

Eucosma or Pelochrista, perhaps. Great colouration.

Mystery noctuid (member of the Noctuidae family). I saw a bunch of the same species around that date and couldn’t ID a single one. Blighters. The Noctuidae are an extremely large family and when I’m feeling brave I’ll post about them. So look forward to that post sometime around 2035.

Another lovely noctuid – or maybe Noctuoidea species? No idea.

I know, I know – this is a BC Moths blog. But sod it, I make the rules here. I saw this on a trip to Botswana/Namibia and I wish I knew its species because hot damn.
